visto che a quanto pare uscirà a settembre/ottobre, iniziano a girare le prime voci.. e sono assolutamente terrificanti!!!

"I've received some info from a source inside GW about the upcoming codex space marines.

The codex not surprisingly is doing away with the armory and the unit options will be in the profile for each unit.

It seems they finally got the message that there are too many Marine codices and this codex will compile all notable chapters into one book. The Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Black Templars, Space Wolves will all use this book with each chapter getting 2 special characters that change the FOC chart somewhat.

Other heroes of the chapters will simply be relegated to "counts as" librarian, chaplain etc. So many of the special character models will not have an in game difference from the standard HQ units.

All units have access to combat squads and there wasn't a HQ option that allowed flexibility for squads sizes. Every tactical unit has 10 marines, even BTs and SWs. Neophytes for BTs are now just scouts and there wasn't a special character to allow crusader squads. One of the more surprising changes I thought.

All in all it should quite the Marine haters that complain about them getting too many books. I think it should be a good codex and I'm looking forward to how they will revise the fluff for some of the chapters that have had more drastic changes to their play style."

Non penso sia un pesce, in fondo è incline con quanto hanno già fatto per il codex del caos!

APPIATTIMENTOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Buttarli? E perchè? Se le cose non ci garbano davvero, siamo forse obbligati a stare dietro alle loro regole? Per quanto tempo abbiamo giocato alla AD&D prima di passare allla 3za ed... e visti i risultati se vi rimanevamo era meglio e forse stavamo ancora giocando.

Se ci piace si fa, altrimenti ci facciamo i cazzi ns, tanto non siamo da tornei, ma da 'casino con gli amici' (stessa cosa vale per il caos, per la V edizione ecc...)

Cmq, sono incline pure io a pensare ad un pesce, soprattutto per i DA appena usciti, non è possibile che li accorpino dopo 1 anno e poco più dall'uscita del codex.

Si per me è un pesce.

Thumbed trough the new Marine dex just before it left for the printers. The new dex is finished! Generally you will gets lots of people bemoaning and criticising a new dex from the rumours they hear before it comes out which is silly, but its not all bad at all with the new dex. Now I'm not going to give away what's in it as this all came as a favour, but I can confirm what's not going to be in it as there are lots of new rumours flying around, and confirm some suspected stuff!

I can confirm combat squads, and the free frag, krak and bolt pistols, there are new units and at least 4 new plastic kits one of which is a plastic Crusader the kit has an additional surprise! , and new range of metals. The special characters from the current dex are in there plus a couple more.

As expected the traits are definitely gone, but the rules seem to be flexible enough that they don't need them, and marines now have a new universal special rule (in addition ATSKNF) to which applies to all Space Marines which makes them a little different and adds a new twist the the way they play! There is a section for each of the chapters of legend a bit like the new Eldar codex with the craft worlds but no specific rules for them.

Also had a game of the new 40k and it is much slicker than before (no rules dumbing down just lots of tweaks and stream lining), combat is now very savage and a bit of a blood bath! The codex has been written by Jervis. Don't worry its good! Some people will moan but generally it's a tough codex I would say marine are more competitive than before!

The future is bright the future is POWER ARMOUR!


DA and BT is unlikely as they have their own codex, however Space Wolves (codex not complete) may get it and BA's don't have a codex in a true sence so maybe, but probably not! If BA do get it then they will be a tricky army to game against!

As it stands at the moment, DA, BA and BT's unlikely SW I don't know to be fair!

Now, like many who dare to post new rumors, it is probably not going to happen and I am prepared to be shot down for this rumor but I must see it have a moment of light. I am no official reciever of rumors like Brimstone or Sylass but here it goes, it is what I got from my awsomely revealing Hobby Black shirt.

Anyway, about marines, every GW person's favorite subject, I hear that they are now going to be getting some rather considerable changes, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! This codex is massive as is said to going to be...

1. Codex: Space Marines is now going to go the way of the Orks Codex in that all characters who are of importance will be getting profiles big or small, modelled yet or not. IE ALL the characters we know so far, plus non-modelled ones . Xavier, Cortez, etc.

2. The prior Codecies for DA and BT are going to be still usable but the character profiles and pretty much all of it are going to be in the new codex in generalised form.

3. And I QUOTE; "I suppose that the marines are going to be gettin' even tougher, and more vanilla'ed down of course." Which in detail, ill explain. Combat Squads rules are going to be upgraded significantly with the new rules for 5th and are completely intergal now, so is the general equipment (frags, kraks, CCW, BP, Bolter; yes, they ARE considering that again). The Space Marine codex will pioneer another rumored format as well.

4. The new format will consist of a single page of rules and options (wargear), and special (optional) rules for each entry to suit your chapter specific needs. IE Tactical Marines = 1 pg, Scouts = 1 pg, Terminators (now generalised) = 1pg, etc etc.

5. The Nerfs, which I did not get specifics on include the CAPTAINS, LAND SPEEDERS, VETERANS, DEVASTATORS, and supposedly TECHMARINES. I dont know to what degree for each, what is changed but I do know that "Captains are definatly getting the nerf bat."

6. The marines will be getting more vanilla'ed and there are no longer free cheats (traits) or any of that messy crap. The Army lists are now going to be more customizable. So much so that it is no longer just putting ur units on bikes and calling them white scars but, now they will have unit - specific rules that when used correctly will play just they way they are supposed to. FLEXIBILITY IS THE ULTIMATE KEY HERE.

7. Finally, the black shirt said that DREADNOUGHTS are getting a NEW MODEL! yay . Marine sprues are getting MORE DIVERSE! yay (corvus is coming). And best of all, Marines are, though far fetched, possibly getting scaled differently, that is a whisper though, and I doubt it.

Maul over that for a while and take it how you wish... I hear gunfire....

parlando di scout... lo trovo giusto!! in fondo in miei "scout" (NB templari...wink) hanno già ws e bs 3!!!
sono i pischelli e devono imparare!!
bellissima la marcia sul fianco e il trasporto land speeder!!

So i was talking to a store manager today who has had a review of the new marine dex, now he has said that marine scouts are going to stay as troop choices but are being reduced to WS 3 BS 3. Also that they are going to get an ability called flank march that lets them enter from a board edge from reserves and Will be definatly getting a land speeder type transport vehicle option, now rumours wise i prefer to wait and see and i assumed that scounts would stay the same as DA and BA(?) ones i.e elites ws4 bs4 but he was explaining that the company are very aware that scouts are being used less as elites so have addressed the issue, and ultramarines will be getting a unique character scout sergeant who is used an an 'upgradable sergeant' (similar to the deamon blood hound and pink horror characters) his only comment on that was that he is basically a vindincare assassin. Just thought id add a little more to the rumour mill. Soz if any of this is old news by the way

My reflections;

Elite section is clustered.
No two special weapons in 10 = weak like Ukraine
AP 3 Flamer Land Raider = Me buy
New Rule is called combat tactics, voluntary fall back = Awesome
New Vets = Actually make sense, look fun (Deep strike and assault, yes please)
Scouts weaker but still in Troops = Time will tell if everyone goes all Tacs...
Thunderfire = Sounds full of win

Secondo me saltano fuori le regole tipo DA... ad esempio se metti Shrike gli assaltatori ti diventano truppa o elìte... però sapere che non ci sarà un PS per le Furie Bianche mi fa sospettare... temo che dovrò buttare via tutte le moto, o convertirle al Caos!

apperò... si mi erano sfuggiti...
beh per fortuna che dovevano fare qualcosa di MOOLTO flessibile...
in linea di massima non sembra male, ma spero che i vari capitoli da codex non vengano skiacciati sotto a queste regole. gli altri muoiono del tutto... cry cry cry
si diceva che anche i pers. TN sarebbero stati inseriti... mah...
intreressanti i veterani saltapaccati, anche se non mi sembrano molto in fluffa. i veterani diventano terminator non saltapacchi... mah.
curioso il "coso" del techmarine.. cos'è???
nuovo LR.. hmmm potrebbe essere molto interessante per gli eserciti d'assalto come i TN e i BA. forse anche per l'ala della morte...
pekato per il LS da trasporto , ma almeno rimangono gli scout su moto!!! chissene tanto non posso schierarli... big grin

le capsule a 18 sterle mi sembrano regalate!!!!! però se sono fatte in quel modo sono galattiche!!
sicarius si è fatto crescere la barba!!! lol lol lol
